Riverview Methodist

In his lifetime, John Wesley produced over 150 published sermons. These were not just sermons delivered on a Sunday morning or to an outdoor gathering. These sermons were meant to be templates or guides to Methodist preachers on how to preach theology. One of the paramount sermons in that series is the “Scriptural Way of Salvation.” In that sermon, Wesley provides a biblical answer to the question, “What does it mean to be saved?”  For Wesley, salvation was far more than just getting to “go to heaven after we die.” Biblical salvation is about our whole life from now into eternity being transformed. We will use the next three weeks to highlight specific moments in that story.
